I am working in a IT-Department where one of my duties is to coordinate the introduction of an commercial ERP-System. I am interested in ADempiere for two reasons: first i would like to be able to compare the commercial system with ADempiere and second i wonder if ADempiere could have been an alternative. I would not consider myself as a fully fledged developer, but i do have some knowledge of SQL, C#, VB.Net, VBA, PHP, CSS and HTML. When i am coding i do it in my free time and it deals mostly with database driven aspx pages.
